The latest news is that we've re-issued Janice Scroggins Plays Scott Joplin -- remastered by Kevin Nettleingham and with a new graphics package by Caleb Olsen. Janice is great, and her recording of Scott Joplin's rags -- made twenty years ago, will you look at the time fly by! -- are unique. Where everyone else seems to like to race through the Maple Leaf Rag, say, it's Janice who adheres to the composer's own clearly stated instruction that "it is never right to play ragtime fast." The result is a revelation. And the slower pieces -- Heaven in Janice's hands!
