Christmas Letter 2003 By Odell Sneeden Hathaway, III Dear Friends and Family, Another year is coming to an end and as we look back we find that we would both like to take this opportunity to wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. With the closing of the year we also feel that we would like to give to each of you the gift of self, so we thought we would take a moment to tell you about the things that have happened in our lives this year. As the year opened we snuck off to Hawaii for some much needed rest. Not long after we returned Linda was hospitalized for over 6 weeks. She does not want to go into details but she was very sick and it was touch and go. Much of the spring was devoted to helping Linda with her recovery and she is still making progress on a daily basis. During the summer we celebrated our 2nd anniversary by spending the weekend at the coast, a little place we know called Otter Rock. We had a wonderful dinner in there dinning room. This is the only restaurant we know of that has sparkling apple cider on the menu so we shared a bottle. With everything that we had going on we did not get much time to take care of the house this year. We didn’t paint or work on the garden much. At work everything is going well. Odell is still working for DM2 software in their support department and Linda is looking for a new job. Right now a lot of our energy is spent looking forward to Christmas and to our getting away. This time we are off to the Caribbean for a cruise. All our pets are doing well. We hope all of you have a wonder-filled Christmas and a Happy and Blessed New Year. Love, Linda and Odell |
