PROVENANCE: Gift from the Artist to the Dutch writer Abertina Draayher (sister of the famed Dutch physicist Wander DeHaas).Upon her death (about 1945), Wander DeHaas presented this painting to his daughter in memory of her Aunt Abertina Draayer. The painting has remained in her collection to date.

CONDITION: By viewing the attached back-lit photo, you will see about 22 "pin size" holes in the lower left (proper right) and a small inverted "J" shapedrip in the lower right (proper left) side of the paper. Otherwise, it is in very good original condition. Please note that the back-lighting makes the holes appear larger than they really are.
