"Ludovica Nicolette Kabell-Rosenorn, 1857-1918, painter. Born Feb. 11, 1857 in Vejlby by Grenaa, died Aug. 5, 1918 in Jyderup, buried at Frederiksberg. Sister of painter Ludvig Kabell. Adopted by Chamberlain, member the Council of the Ministers of State, Minister, Chairman Ernst Emil Rosenorn and Mariane Magdalene Clausine Brinch-Seidelin. Unmarried. Education: Started late to paint and was educated by Emmy Thorman and by her brother Ludvig Kabell; was in Paris a student of Madeleine Lemaire. Trips: Paris 1904 and the following year; later Cannes. Exhibits: Charlottenborg 1896-1918, (22 times with 58 works); The Artists' Fall Exh. 1905 and 1909; Sept. Exhibit 1901 (together with Ludvig Kabell) and 1908 (together with Henrik Jespersen). Has especially painted flower pictures and worked with decoration of china." D.He.
