Position: GENERAL MANAGER
Reports to: President
Supervises: All management and staff
Manage the growth and operation of EIS to maintain short- and long-term financial and organizational viability while fulfilling commitments to customers.
Ensure effective allocation of limited resources across all areas of operation to accomplish unlimited customer-driven priorities.
Develop and maintain an organizational structure for effectively integrating all operational departments.
Create and adjust management structures as the company changes. Make needed staffing adjustments.
Manage the structural and cultural transition of EIS as it matures into a professional organization.
Develop and implement policies as needed for a maturing organization.
Develop and implement long-term organizational, technological, and marketing strategies to achieve and maintain competitiveness.
Balance realized market growth with organizational ability to follow through on implementations.
Maintain customer contact by schmoozing and taking heat. Negotiate with vendors and customers when necessary on sticky issues like quality of products and services, payment, etc.
Develop or approve new systems or processes to improve operations.
Approve all financial liabilities or outlays.
Determine or approve compensation for all employees.
Market Emerald's products and services.
