The couple were building their dream house in the country. The plans were finished, and the foundation was staked out. But before the loan could be approved, they needed water. When the dowser arrived he was led to a particular spot. "I would like the well to be right here," the lady said.
"Time out!" said the dowser. "We find water; we don't make it."
Dowsers, what do we really know about the relationship between the human mind, the Earth and water?
We know that dowsing has long been done with all kinds of common, or improbable, instruments, or no "instrument" at all. We have shown that water can be located on a map from hundreds or even thousands of miles away. More recently, we have found that we can move underground streams of water by the use of sonic vibrations, or simply by thinking.
Magic? Not at all. A mystery to be solved? For sure!
Geologists and hydrologists tell us about the Earth, the rocks, and the water cycle. The late Stephan Riess gave us a theory of "primary" water generated in the rocks. Others have taught us about "thought forms" -- energy patterns created by the mind -- which can be detected hundreds or thousands of years later. Conventional physics demonstrates the magnetic field around a wire carrying electricity, and this suggests an energy field around an underground stream of water. These examples, and many more "anomalies," hint that a hidden pattern may exist.
We detect an energy field from flowing water. We create thought forms. How do we move underground streams? By creating a thought form (visualization) of the stream in a new location. This thought form, an energy pattern, then draws the water into it, to fulfill the potential of the pattern. If a suitable channel exists, the water cannot resist.
Past practice has been to "push" the stream over, inch by inch, through progressive visualization, to the new channel, regardless of obstructions.
An alternate means of diverting a stream to a dry well may be deduced from the information presented above. Dowse for the best channel to accomplish the stated objective. Then visualize the water flowing through that new channel. This will effectively "shut the gate" on the old channel and open up the new channel at the appropriate location.
Isn't it curious that that many megaliths, shrines, and churches are constructed over water domes? Did dowsers advise the builders? But are we sure that the sites were dowsed at all? Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Is it possible that strong thoughts (prayer) have acted as a energy siphon to bring water up to form the dome?
Perhaps the lady who wanted the well "right there" could perceive what we would not believe.
This is a idea which we can test.
There were several things that I didn't know when that was published.
A.) Healing energy
Dr. Robert N. Miller, retired Staff Scientist from Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Co., promoted a project investigating methods of detecting and measuring healing energies. Working with Dr. Olga Worral, world renowned healer, they were able to show significant changes in water treated by healers -- at a distance of many miles. Two major effects were alteration of the surface tension and the hydrogen bonding of water. The altered surface tension may explain the ability to change direction of water veins.
[Note: The aspect of INTENT has been found to be very important in prayer, dowsing, psychotronics, etc.]
The researchers also reported similar changes in water treated with magnets, an area extensively explored by the late Marcel Vogel, Ph.D., former head scientist for IBM.
B.) Action at a distance
Several dowsers had been working on the problem of moving streams of water. Terry Ross, II, a master dowser, regularly located well sites on distant continents by map dowsing. He and a scientist demonstrated that water could be altered by "sending" energy from remote locations. Distance caused little or no problems.
Comment:
Since the dilatancy model for earthquake precursors includes the intrusion of water into micro-fractured, stressed rocks, it appears that we may be able to "manage" the processes leading to fault rupture. We may be able to speed up the process in some areas while retarding it in other areas. Large quakes may be turned into multiple small quakes.
