FISHING CREEL STYLES

My 12-6-00 style shown above duplicates the
original Geo. Lawrence "Tillamook" creel with
the classic embossed border-stamped design
on the lid, center band, hinge, and shoulder strap.  A
matching, padded and leather-lined shoulder
strap accompanies each creel.  (An enlarged
view of the border-stamping designs can be
seen on Page 5.)

The 12-7-00 creel basketry is colored green, has
a center pocket, and full leather top; all decorated
with my "dry fly / jumping fish" design.

The 4-1-01 double-pocket style creel has my "dry fly" theme embossed on the pockets, and the classic border design applied to the lid and center band.

My 2-15-02 design with the red and blue basketry, and white stars is an example of the unlimited art-work possibilities in designing a creel.  It was great fun to create.

I applied an old family sterling buckle closure on the extra wide central band of this beautiful tightly woven, split willow, center-hole style 1-22-02 creel. It is set off by a basket weave border design.

Instead of the usual carrying harness,
this 2-25-00 creel is carried by the standard padded
shoulder strap attached to a full "cradle"
assembly which supports the creel. A custom
knife sheath is attached to the main "cradle"
support strap. The pocket is closed with two
buckle straps instead of the standard pair of
flap snaps.
