Too fat to fly and waiting by the corn. (candy machine)

Centrally located in Salem, Oregon, Max Marbles/Bookbinder is on the grounds of the Mission Mill Museum. This picturesque landmark is the sight of Salem's first mill and was included in the properties of Jason Lee and the methodist missionaries of the early 1830's. The site contains the Tom Kay Woolen Mill, (related to the Bishops of Pendleton Woolen Mills) and boasts the oldest wooden frame houses in the Northwest.

To get to us from I-5 simply take Exit 253 and head west into town. Follow the signs to the Visitor's Information Center. They are located at Mission Mill, too. The official address is 1313 Mill Street SE. There is ample parking and a restaurant on premises serves hot soup and great sandwiches. Save some of the bread crust for our voracious ducks.

If you're traveling the I-5 corridor (5 minutes away) and would like to stop by and drop off a book or other work we encourage you to call ahead. (or email)  We are at the bindery Tuesday through Saturday between 10:00 and 3:30. If your schedule puts you in the Salem area on a Sunday or Monday we can, with notice, arrange to meet you. How about a map.
