I'll be teaching a screenwriting course on Monday evenings April 17 through May 15th at Portland Community College, Sylvania Campus, in the Cedar Room. The class runs from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Cost of class, $59.00. To register, contact Tispora Diamant at tdimant@pcc.edu.

The classes teaches formatting, an understanding of story structure and creating a screenplay, how to contact an agent, manager or producer, writing a one page synopsis, how to enter contests, and ideas for outlining a story.

I'm teaching screenwriting through Mount Hood Community College Wednesday evenings beginning April 4th, Gresham Campus.

The class is an introduction to creating stories as film scripts. Learn how to turn a story idea into a story premise, write a screenplay using the proper screenplay format, write a query letter to an agent or production company, and copyright and register your screenplay. Several films will be broken down in class to teach plot and character dynamics.
