We are a friendly group of woodcarvers, beginners to professionals, from Lincoln City and surrounding areas. All carvers and anyone interested in learning carving are welcome to join our club.
The Coastal Carvers has its own show in January of each year and is a Non-Juried Show Coastal Carvers 20th Annual "Artistry In Wood Show 2012" will be on January 14th & 15th Chinook Winds Convention Center - 1777 N.W. 44th Street - Lincoln City, Oregon Saturday 10am - 5pm & Sunday 10am - 4pm FREE Admission & FREE Seminars for Kids & Adults – Both Days The Peoples Choice Carving Categories for 2012 are as follows: Gallery, Beginner (carving less than 2 years), Youth (14 years of age and under) The Theme for 2012: "Look What Fell Out of My Knife" 1st to 3rd place ribbons will be awarded to all categories There will also be a special "Mayors Award" & "Chinook Winds Casino Award"

Club Meetings are at: Lincoln City SDA School - 2126 NE Surf Avenue - Lincoln City, Oregon (Turn on NE 22nd Street, Right on Surf Avenue, Left on 1st Driveway (SDA Parking Lot) The Meetings are the 1st Sunday of each month, October through June @ 1:30 PM. (The April Meeting may be changed if it conflicts with the Salem Capitol Carver's Show) MEMBERSHIP DUES are $15.00 per year per family + $4.00 per name tag (optional) Junior members (under 16) no charge.
