System Requirements To Take This Course

  • Any Mac or PC (or compatible) capable of running versions 4.5 or newer or either Netscape or Internet Explorer
  • A 15" or larger monitor and the ability to display 256 or more colors at a resolution of 800x600 (or greater). This course has been designed for use on a 17" monitor with a resolution of 1024x768 and thousands of colors.
  • A dial-up (28.8K or faster) or a broadband (DSL, cable, satellite, etc.) connection

Software Requirements To Take This Course

  • Netscape Communicator or Internet Explorer versions 4.5 or newer, with Java enabled. Note: Netscape version 6 is not supported.
  • The free Adobe Acrobat Reader may be used to read downloaded documents. You may download the Acrobat Reader at www.adobe.com
  • Several browser "plug-ins" may be used in this course, including the Flash and Shockwave plug-ins. Your browser will alert you if you need these plug-ins and direct you to sites to download them.
