"Desi" Marcur's Desert Rose
(Ch. Regency's Night Life x Danaho's Tally Forth)
Desi is show here winning Best of Winners at both
the Clackamas Kennel Club and Olympic Kennel Club shows. As you
can see by these pictures, Desi has *two* sides! This one particular
judge actually had Curt stack Desi in the opposite of the normal
direction on purpose so she could compare her "white face
side" to the other bitches in the ring.
Desi has a beautiful head, expression and wonderful movement. We think
the "black face" made it difficult for her to finish her championship.
Although markings are not supposed to be a factor, when push came to shove,
it did (in our opinion). Her reserve wins are too numerous to count. She lacked
one major to finish her championship. Desi is now a sweet couch potato and
queen of the house at 11 years of age.
Here is Desi with our youngest son, Jesse, at the
Portland Bench show. Our club's bench was decorated with Victorian
houses and the dogs were appropriately dressed in Victorian attire.
The club won first prize for our bench decorations that day.
