"Erik" Ch. Marcur's Norwegian Wood, CD, CGC

Erik left us for the Rainbow Bridge in October, 2001 at the age of 13 1/2.
He was loyal, loving, gentle and calm and lived a very happy and long life here with us.
He was the love of our lives and will always be in our hearts.
We were his breeders and therefore he was born in this house and lived his entire life with us.
We held him first and saw him take his first breath and now we were the last to hold him
as we said goodbye and told him what a good boy he was.

He truly was a VERY, VERY good, sweet boy.

Erik was such a very sweet boy dog and beautiful too, as you can see from this head photo taken by Jan Martin.
We can't say enough about Erik and the sweet disposition and temperament of this boy.
He was the love of our lives.

Erik is pictured starting his show career by going Best of Winners at the Mt. Bachelor Kennel Club show at the young age of 12 months.

Erik is show here finishing his championship by going Best of Winners at the Puyallup Dog Fanciers show for a four point major. Erik was not to be out done by his sister, Ribbon, and finished his championship with FOUR majors also!

Erik is pictured here winning one of his majors at the Olympia Dog Fanciers show with his dad, Jackson, Ch. Springerlane's Ridgewyn who also went Best of Breed the same day.

Erik is shown here winning Best of Opposite Sex in the Veteran Sweepstakes at the Nationals in San Jose, CA under breeder/judge Dana Hopkins. His show career buddy, Annie, Ch. Dalin's Legacy of Inanna went Best in Veteran Sweepstakes with him that day. It brought back some good memories of their show careers.

Here is a nice picture of the "Jackson" sons at the 1999 Nationals in Portland, Oregon. From top (in age order): Jackson (dad), Erik, Peter and Carl.
