Phil Morgan,
Certified Professional Bodywork Therapist (CPBT), is a Reiki Master*, rebirther, shaman,
Santa, teacher, licensed minister and intuitive therapist. He has supported the
healing and growth of people since the early 1970's. Combining his knowledge of
many different therapy methods with his gentle nature, Phil provides a safe,
compassionate and sacred space for his clients and students. He has extensive
experience working with persons who have cancer and AIDS. He is an active member
in the Oregon Chapter of the Association for Death Education and Counseling. He
is also a member of The Reiki Alliance, The Foundation for Shamanic Studies, The
Hemlock Society and the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
* initiated May 9, 1986 in the traditional practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho (The Usui System of Reiki) by Phyllis Lei Furumoto, fourth Grand Master in the lineage of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi and Hawayo Takata.

Reiki Treatments: Full or focused
treatments with this safe gentle energy therapy can be very helpful in relieving
stress, alleviating pain, emotional and physical healing, coping with affects of
drug therapies, and promoting overall well-being. Phil is a traditional Usui
System Reiki Master.
Rebirthing: Ascended Breath Therapy
(ABT) assists in clearing unwanted memories and old programming from body and
mind. It is a way of coming into balance, a balance of the physical, emotional,
mental and spiritual. Phil was trained by Leonard Orr and others in this therapy
technique.
Spiritual Direction: Sometimes in our
quest for spiritual growth we come to a point where we need a reality check. We
need to hear someone else say the things to us that we can't say to ourselves.
We need objective compassionate assistance in determining what course of action
or study to follow. Phil can provide this guidance.
Intuitive Counseling: When dealing
with some of life's issues we need some guidance or advice from someone who has
had similar encounters. While not formally trained or licensed as
psychotherapists Phil has considerable experience with life and can be very
helpful as a listener and helper in exploring right action.
Inner child work (ICW): All of us
have an active internal child. A few fortunate people were raised in a way where
this child was honored and respected. The rest of us have some healing work to
do from wounds we received as children. Phil has had training in several ICW
therapies and is able to assist in this area.
Healing from Abuse: Sometimes
relationships, parent/child or partner/partner, become unsafe. For a variety of
reasons one party fails to respect and cherish the other. This may happen on the
physical level or may be on an emotional, mental or spiritual level. Healing
from the trauma of abuse sets us free to explore new relationships. Phil is a
gentle healer and able to create a safe space to let go of the pain and reclaim
life as it can be.

Reiki Shoden - First Degree Training:
Reiki is a gentle hands on therapy which supports the healing process. It is a
safe complimentary holistic treatment that is easy to learn and to use. These
classes meet all requirements of the Reiki Alliance for a First Degree
Certificate. This 12 hour training is offered at the Portland Reiki Center on a
regular basis and Phil is willing to travel to teach this beautiful healing
art.
Reiki OkuDen: Second Degree Training:
The "deeper knowledge" of Reiki is offered through this training to those who
have had at least three months experience with Reiki. The training is available
in either a class format or individual sessions. Second Degree certificates are
issued at the completion of the training.
Reiki Masters Training: Phil offers a
one year intensive for those who wish to become teachers of the Usui System of
Reiki. Becoming a master candidate requires a serious and significant physical,
emotional and financial commitment. Before Phil accepts a candidate an in-depth
interview is essential.
Rebirther Training: Learn to assist
others in breath therapy. It is a helpful adjunct to massage, Reiki, counseling
and other healing techniques. This training is offered one-on-one by
Phil.
Shamanic Training: Explore the world
of non-ordinary reality and open to the presence of spirit helpers. Phil has
been a student and practitioner of shamanism for many years and enjoys sharing
this tool with others. Phil uses a sonic driver to shift states of
consciousness. Mind altering drugs are not a part of his practice.
Community Death Education: Phil has been involved in the field of death and dying for many years.
He has close personal experiences and has been present for many people as they
died. He has prepared a formal program "The Importance of Saying Goodbye" which
he has presented at conferences and he has a repertoire of other topics that he
can present to interested groups.
From the shamanic tradition: From a broader spiritual tradition: As a licensed minister in the State of Oregon and as one who
recognizes the need for ritual, ceremony, and other special observances Phil
offers a variety of traditional and not so traditional services to mark
important occasions in people's lives. These include:

services at a negotiable fee. Phil's approach to these issues is very practical
and well grounded in his own experience. Phil's compassion and sensitivity can
ease some of the pain and confusion that occur when dealing with one's own death
or the death of a loved one.
