First Saturday Ukulele workshopswith Marianne Brogan at Artichoke MusicNext: February 4 -- 10--10:45 a.m. Introduction to the Ukulele This is an elementary introduction to playing the ukulele. Loaner instruments available, no prior experience expected. Artichoke Music. Drop-in. No registration required. $10 ******************************************************** Jam By Ear Workshop with Jim D'Ville This fun and interactive workshop will teach you how to have a great ukulele
jam session with no sheet music, music stands and all the other distractions
that take you away from playing music. Jam By Ear is a one-hour workshop and
jam session in which you'll not only get to play a number of fun tunes, at
the same time you'll be learning about arranging, intros and outros, stopping
and starting together, changing keys, switching up the rhythm, and a few more
tricks of the trade that will really jazz up all of the songs you play. All
levels, from beginner on up.
