RCDC Workshop:

Several years ago, in a bitter divorce proceeding, my "secret" was unceremoniously unveiled by my ex, before family, friends, co-workers, professional associates, even my two teen-age sons.

This workshop is for those who need support to either "come out" to family and friends, or who have been outed and are seeking to repair and find support for this challenging experience. We'll cover - where to begin, who can I trust, shame, getting support, acknowledging the sexual shadow, and the meaning and benefits of being sexually authentic.

Where are the meetings? Meetings are held at the Portland Conference Center, 300 NE Multnomah Street (off MLK Blvd). (there is a map in the newsletter).

DIRECTIONS: From I-5 north, take exit 302A, take first right on Weidler (not "Weilder"!), right on MLK Boulevard, right on Multnomah -- Lyons restaurant is at the corner -- and turn left to the parking lot (and park for free!). The Max light rail also stops right out front around the other side.

RCDC MUNCH

The RCDC "After Meeting Munch" will be held at Lyons "bar" across the street after the meeting (around 9:00pm). You can walk over or drive. Just ask for "the RCDC group".

Monthly Meetings

Each month RCDC features guest speakers and lively discussion, and stresses education, safety, resources, workshops, social, and fun. Monthly meetings are announced on the RCDC phone line (972-1869, select 2) and are held in a comfortable private social setting. Meetings are attended by people (often over 75) of all educations, interests, ages, and backgrounds. You are not required to join RCDC to attend meetings. Because the building is public (though the meeting room is private), we ask you to wear reasonable "street dress" to meetings. Thank you.

Who Attends Meetings?

RCDC is pansexual and honors all kinds of lifestyle diversity. We are open to ladies and gentlemen and those who identify otherwise. We are open to singles, couples, and other relationship structures. Members, non-members, visitors, beginners, and newcomers, whether closeted or out, are all welcome and encouraged to attend the monthly open program meetings. Though a common "thread" of our membership is Power-Exchange BDSM, RCDC welcomes (and is represented by) most other fetishes and orientations.
