Twin Pines Ranch
Our weekend getaway is our 100 acre ranch which we call Twin Pines. Located between Lake Isabella (Kernville) and Tehachapi at the south end of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California, Twin Pines lets us get away from the computers and phones and get back to nature. But the pagers and cell phones still work.
Sadly on July 23, 2003 Twin Pines Ranch was destroyed in a 1200 acre wildland fire (Basin Fire) that was started by a neighbor. We took some pictures in August 2003 of what was left. You can view those pictures by following this link - Post Fire Pictures
