Wyndswept Shiba Inu and Siberian Huskies

Welcome to Windswept Shiba Inu and Siberian Husky.

We are a small hobby kennel, located in Lebanon, in the heart of the Willamette Valley.

Our dogs are bred to be show dog but they are also pets living in the house and playing with kids and our cats.

We rarely breed and when we do it is for soundness, structure, movement and most of all good temperaments. We never breed for profit only for ourselves and that elusive next Champion.

I got my first dog when I was 12; she was a Border Collie mix. I showed her in  4-H obedience and Showmanship.  4-H got me interested in showing in AKC Junior Showmanship. I was lucky enough to meet some people who let me show their dogs and mentored me then and continue to mentor me.

I got my first Shiba in 1993; she was an import from Japan, and a wonderful introduction to the breed.  She was shown in conformation and I showed her briefly but successfully in Junior Showmanship.

In March of 2005 we added another Shiba Inu, currently, Shibas are our main focus but, we still have Siberians.

In 2000 I got my first Siberian husky.  She was shown on a limited basis.

Thanks for looking at our site.  Enjoy!!!
