Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?

In the new testament, Jesus just before he dies
cried out "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
At first glance, this verse seems to be saying that
Jesus was forgotten by God, left alone to be killed.
But remember, Jesus told them that he was spoken of
by God in the Old Testament.

As it turns out, Jesus was saying the title to a
song they all knew, it's the title to Psalms 22,
a song written by David, but with many things in
the song that were happening to Jesus right then:

Ps 22: 1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
why art thou so far from helping me, and
from the words of my roaring?

David wrote that and the verses that followed about
1000 years before Jesus showed up. They would have
known right then when they heard him say it, that the
stuff happening to Jesus right then, those things
were in the song.

God made it all, Jesus died for our sins.
