The question about how hot the sun was when it was new is actually a very good question and the answer is NOT what most people would expect. There was a report given on Nov 9th, 2000 by astronomers using the Chanrdra X-ray telescope, and that report said that young stars similar to our sun when it was new, those stars burn VERY brightly, much brighter than our sun does now. This is a major confirmation that heavier elements would be falling from above the surface of a new, yet similar star as our sun. This since our sun right now, it has solar flares that have worst case temperatures of 100,000,000 C in the hottest flares. Temperatures near that, are enough for minute amounts of fusion of heavier than iron elements. So for the NEW stars similar to our sun, and them burning MUCH brighter than our sun does, it's pretty much a given that fusion occurred in the solar atmosphere for the sun when it was new. As such, the heavier than iron elements would then begin falling below the surface of the "pre-sun" star, and they would build up in a ring at the equatorial line. That built up ring of heavier than iron elements would then later explode out in a FISSION ring explosion, giving the DUST CLOUD, and the regathering matter from the DUST CLOUD would then give the DUST DISK. The DUST DISK then forms into the planets, moons, comets, etc... a solar system. There's another question about the sun's maximum temperatures above the surface, and that is, where is it the hottest? It turns out that they've found that the hottest temperatures occur near, yet above the surface of the sun. This was reported by CNN on Sept 26, 2000, and was based on information given by NASA, using the TRACE satellite's image data. Hence it all fits. God said he moved upon the surface of the "waters" (the surface of the "pre-sun" star) and the "firmament" built up between the "waters". The "firmament" later exploded out, separating the "waters" and planets and moons etc... formed from the regathering matter. So God was exactly right in Genesis when he described how our solar system formed. Hence God really is the source of his creation... just like he said. God made it all, Jesus died for our sins.
