Proof the Shroud was Given by God

Proof and Prophecies for the Shroud of Turin
being the burial cloth of Jesus:
--------------------------------------------

Recent science results have indicated that the 1988 carbon
dating of the Shroud of Turin may in fact be misdated due
to bacteria and fungus build up (1). The build up only had to
be 18% more than that seen for the cloths on mummy #1770
which shows a 1000 year error. This is not a significant error
given the UNKNOWN environment and storage for the shroud.

So what does the Bible say about the shroud:
----------------------------------------------------------
* Matches what John in Revelation said when he was
  told by Jesus to write all that he saw. He then
  turned and recognized Jesus with "his head and
  his hair were white like wool, as white as snow"
  and was surrounded by GOLDEN candle sticks.

  This shows up when the shroud image is intensity
  NEGATIVE and the color remains POSITIVE:

  Previous negative images of the shroud did not
  hold the color positive and the negatives came out
  blue in color, often the color was removed for a
  black and white image. Keeping the color positive
  and intact, shows the GOLDEN candle sticks or
  lampstands on the right and left sides of Jesus.

* Further, this POSITIVE color, NEGATIVE intensity image
  also matches what John in Revelation said about the
  2 lampstands in front of God (Jesus is the ARM OF GOD)
  and that they'd be clothed in sack cloth.

* Also matches Zec 4 where there are 2 GOLDEN pipes on
  either side of God and the angel told Zechariah:

       =======================================
       Not by MIGHT or POWER, but by my SPIRIT
       =======================================

  since Jesus did not use MIGHT or POWER to save us,
  he saved by imparting the SPIRIT of God after his
  death. No MIGHT or POWER was used even when presented
  with a brutal death at the hands of those he came to
  save.

* Also matches Isaiah 52 "God will make BARE his HOLY ARM
  (Jesus is the ARM OF GOD, hence God himself as given
  in Isaiah 53 and Jesus is stark naked on the shroud)
  in the eyes of all the nations and all the ends of
  the earth shall see (only recently have all the nations
  been able to view the shroud) the salvation (Jesus
  died for our sins) of our God".

* Matches Zec 12:10 "and they shall look upon ME (again
  Jesus is the ARM OF GOD) whom they have PIERCED
  (Jesus was pierced and died on the cross) and shall
  MOURN for him as a son (Jesus was a Jew)". The Jews
  in Jerusalem CHEERED when Jesus died and will CHEER
  when he returns. They will only MOURN when they realize
  it's Jesus on the shroud. Notice that the Jews are
  NOW in Jerusalem.

* Matches where God said in Due 5:15 that his

     ===================================
     "mighty hand and stretched out ARM"
     ===================================

  saved the Hebrews, likewise, Jesus was sent to save us.

  Now notice on the shroud that Jesus has what appears
  to be a slightly longer right arm. Jesus admitted to
  being AT LEAST God's HAND and God said his "stretched
  out arm" saved them (Jesus was sent to save us by
  dying for our sins, and God gives followers into
  Jesus's hand). So it follows that Jesus could as well
  display a "stretched out arm" beings how he is to save
  the followers given to him by God into Jesus's hand.

* Also matches Job 40 where God says in no small terms
  that no man's RIGHT ARM can save them. Obviously Jesus
  is also given in the bible to now be on the RIGHT HAND
  of God and was sent to save us. These coupled with the
  "stretched out ARM" which is also displayed by the
  RIGHT ARM on the shroud (image above is a mirror image),
  you can then realize that Jesus's RIGHT HAND and ARM
  are both MIGHTY and "stretched out" similar to what
  God said in Job 40 and Due 5:15 in the bible. The
  difference being that where God sent his ARM to save
  the Hebrews using MIGHT and POWER (Due 5:15), God then
  sends Jesus to save NOT using MIGHT or POWER (Zec 4), but
  still displaying the MIGHTY HAND and stretched out
  ARM. See Isaiah 53 where the ARM OF GOD is to save
  us from our sins.

  Likewise:

  Isa 59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is NOT SHORTENED,
           that it cannot save;

  Jesus's ARM and HAND are NOT SHORTENED on the shroud
  and are in fact MIGHTY and STRETCHED OUT since Jesus
  was sent as the ARM OF GOD to save us from our sins.

* Also matches 2 prophecies, one in the Old Testament
  and a similar one in the New Testament:

          Isa 42:3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and

          =====================================
          the smoking flax shall he not quench:
          =====================================

          he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

  Notice that the image was BURNED into the shroud
  by Jesus while he resurrected. Obviously the linen
  was smoking afterwards since Jesus didn't stop
  the BURNING of the linen while the image formed.

  The New Testament repeats the prophecy and ADMITS it's
  about Jesus himself:

   Mt 12:20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and
            smoking flax shall he not quench, till he
            send forth judgment unto victory.

  So not only is there the Isaiah prophecy written
  750 years prior to Jesus, but there is the claim
  made in the New Testament that Jesus himself is
  the one fulfilling that prophecy.

* Matches Isaiah 50:6 "I gave my back to the smiters,
  and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I
  hid not my face from shame and spitting". You can
  see on the shroud that Jesus has one side of his face
  where they've apparently pulled off part of his beard.
  You can also see where he's been beaten on the back
  on the upper half of the shroud that includes his
  back side view (2).

* Matches "For wheresoever the carcass (shroud) is, there
  will the eagles be gathered" as there is NO body of
  Jesus since he ascended into heaven. There is only the
  shroud with Jesus shown as being dead, as a life sized
  image burned on the burial cloth and with his own shed
  blood on it.

The time the prophecies were written are:
---------------------------------------------------------
* Isaiah prophecies were written 750 years prior to Jesus.
* Zec 12 was written 520 years prior to Jesus.
* Revelation was written in 70 AD.
* Jesus died and raised from the dead in 30 AD.

What's just as much astounding is that those GOLDEN
candle sticks or lampstands in front of and on the
sides of Jesus are formed by the end results of
THREE major fires, water damage, and some patched
new cloth triangles being sown where the material
was burned away. In a normal image, you'd see those
lampstands as BLACK burned areas (2).

And this is special in that those "lampstands" took
an ACT OF GOD to stop the shroud from burning up
entirely during those THREE major fires. Some of the
holes are from where molten silver was dropping onto
the cloth. A cloth like the shroud can easily burn in
a matter of seconds.

   ==================================================
   It took God like CONTROL and TIMING to insure
   the burning stopped and yet left the "lampstands".
   ==================================================

And Jesus is the LINK in all these prophecies.

It took Jesus (the ARM OF GOD) to:

* burn in the image on the shroud in the first place
  while he resurrected. Other methods to make such
  an image FAIL in that there is no visible means
  of support for the body as a "planned" photo back
  in 30 AD, it's BURNED IN on one side of the cloth,
  and it's NOT humanly made (painting, etc...).
* show the vision to John in 70 AD where he had the
  head and hair white as snow and surrounded by
  GOLDEN candle sticks.
* actually make himself have that head and hair
  white as snow to be on the shroud.
* KNOW that eventually such an image could be converted
  during our time.
* KNOW that now the Jews would be back in Jerusalem
  to see it.
* actually care enough for us, that he'd go through such
  suffering.

That shroud is there for a purpose and God set it up.

God made it all, Jesus died for our sins.
