SisterSpirit's 20th
SisterSpirit is a Women's Spirituality Group in Portland. It began in 1985. Throughout her history members of SisterSpirit have been active as individuals and as a group in social activisms issues, especially anti-war rituals as part of protest activities and environmental issues. We believe in the intersection of Spirituality and social justice. Frodo is currently working on her doctorate: Her thesis is about the intersection of spirituality and social activism/environmental activism. This is Frodo's message about the SisterSpirit's 20th anniversary party. The whole community is invited. The party is Saturday, December 10th, 2pm-5pm, The Musician's Union Hall (just South of 20th and Sandy) 325 NE 20th. It's a potluck. Bring warm clothing to donate to the homeless. We will select an agency in the near future for distribution. Share stories, memories, meet and greet other folks who are in the Pagan or Pagan friendly community, and share your favorite dish. There will be a ritual as well. Call: 503.736.3297 for more information. If you have suggestions email us and let us know. You can also email: hiddenviking@yahoo.com Blessed be, Jamie Okulam
