Amazing how often folks get confused about our convention cycle. Thought it might be nice to occasionally list all coming conventions. Regionals are in odd years, "nationals" in even. [Newsletter editors: consider offering a list like this to your membership.]

Just a few steps away from the "Westin Bonadventure," our official downtown convention hotel, lies Disney Hall, home of the LA Philharmonic and it's already famous new organ! But what happend to the pipes? Note: Click on the picture to enlarge.
This picture is from May, 2002. The striking new Rosales/Glötter-Götz organ for Disney Hall, still incomplete, will be heard by conventioneers in one of the first programs on this instrument. If you can make out the floral upholstery on the seating -- note each one is different!
Be sure to remind folks of the early registration discount! All the information is in TAO. Lead your members to: www.agohq.org/2004
From the Chapter Management Handbook, Section I, page 45:
"Members of the American Guild of Organists have the opportunity to gather each year at national....and regional....conventions. The programs for these events includes performances by outstanding artists, premiers of new music, magnificent instruments, fine choirs, and workshops on topics ranging from historic worship traditions...."
