Caretakers of the Environment International/USA
CEI is a global network of secondary school teachers and students active in environmental education. Founded in 1989, the organization today has groups in more than 69 countries and national networks in USA, Canada, Netherlands, Portugal, India, Sweden, Ireland, Scotland, Pakistan and other nations. The CEI network acts as a podium for teachers and students to exchange concerns, ideas, strategies, actions and projects in the field of environmental education. Youth Environmental Summit 2005 (YES 05) is part of CEI's annual commitment to coordinating an international conference focusing on environmental issues. The conferences support CEI's goal of encouraging the building of trust, friendship and cooperation among people of different cultural backgrounds.

Oregon State University Extension Service
The Oregon State University Extension Service provides education and information based on timely research to help Oregonians solve problems and develop skills related to youth, family, community, farm, forest, energy, and marine resources. The organization carries out its mission by extending the research knowledge base of the University to people who need the information, and providing leadership in applying this knowledge to the problems people have identified. OSU Extension Service is the "front door to OSU" and the premier provider of nonformal education that meets the needs of Oregonians and contributes significantly to strong individuals, families and communities; a vibrant economy; and sustainable natural resources.
